Introduction to Fishing - Fall
Participants will learn the basic fundamentals and techniques of fishing, as well as what species live in the waters they will be fishing in. This is an instructor-led program. Fishing equipment will be provided by Holland Recreation. If your child wishes to bring their own fishing equipment they are welcome to do so. This is an outdoor program so please dress for the weather.
Dates: Wednesdays, September 10 - October 1, 2025
Grades: K - 5th (as of 2025/2026 school year)
Times: K - 2nd, 5:30 - 6:20 PM
           3rd - 5th, 6:30 - 7:20 PM
Location: Huizenga Park, 350 Royal Park Dr. Zeeland, MI - Wednesdays, September 10 & 17
                Outdoor Discovery Center, 4214 56th St. Holland, MI - Wednesdays, September 24 & October 1
Fee: $35 Resident l $50 Non-Res by 8/11/25
        $45 Resident l $60 Non-Res by 9/2/25
        $55 Resident l $70 Non-Res after 9/2/25; pending availability
