Medieval Longsword - Level 1This class, hosted by the Swordsmanship Museum and Academy, introduces students to the fundamentals of Medieval German Longsword Combat. The techniques that will be taught are taken directly from translations of a Renaissance Swordsmanship Manual, published in 1570 by Joachim Meyer. This class will be taught by Brian Chau, and will include optional sparring. City of Holland Garden ClubThis summer, join Holland Parks & Recreation for the first ever season of Garden Club. This club is an opportunity to beautify the city and also to meet and have fun socializing with other like minded gardeners. This 6-week program will be led by City of Holland Greenhouse staff. Each week members will travel around the City of Holland sprucing up and planting around Downtown Holland and various park areas, with the goal of helping make Holland shine throughout the busy summer months.
