Evaluation Night: Details on evaluation nights for both boys and girls can be found below. Every participant will be placed on a team. These are NOT try outs.
- 3rd/4th Boys Evaluation (last name beginning A-M) - Monday, December 2 from 5:30PM - 6:15PM @ Pine Ridge Elementary.
- 3rd/4th Boys Evaluation (last name beginning N-Z) - Monday, December 2 from 6:30PM - 7:15PM @ Pine Ridge Elementary.
- 3rd/4th Girls Evaluation (All) - Tuesday, December 3 from 5:30PM - 6:15PM @ Holland Middle School Main Gym.
League Format: Teams will practice on Monday & Tuesday evenings and play games on Thursday evenings. In December, teams will only practice on Mondays and Tuesdays. Games will begin in January.
Practice Time: Practice location and time will be sent out to parents from their child's coach. Coaches will reach out to their teams by Friday, December 6. If you don't hear from a coach by Monday, December 9, please contact the recreation office.
First Game: The first game will take place on Thursday, January 9.
Final Game: The final game will take place on Thursday, February 13.
Game Schedule: The boys and girls basketball schedules will be emailed out and added to the Holland Recreation website by Friday, December 20.
Game Cancellations: If games are cancelled due to inclement weather and/or school closings, you can view all cancellations on the cancellation page at the link below. Cancellations are traditionally made by 4:00PM. Cancellation Page
Equipment Needed: Athletic shoes and shorts. Game jerseys will be handed out prior to the first game.
Special Requests: Special requests for team placement are only granted for siblings or extenuating circumstances.
Team Formations: Teams are formed through the evaluation/skills/drills by a coach draft. All children are placed on a team. This process is to ensure teams are as fair and balanced as possible. Every participants will be placed on a team.
